Mary McGowan is the founder and President of McGowan Fine Art, an Art Gallery and Art Consulting business that started in 1980. She has been instrumental in developing an audience for New Hampshire and Regional Artists.

Ms. McGowan has also served on numerous Boards and Committees such as Canterbury Shaker Village, The NH Institute of Art , The League of NH Craftsmen, Bridges House, The Feminist Health Center, and the Fuller Craft Museum Collections Committee.
