Greg is chairman of the firm’s Administrative Law Department, which includes the government relations and environmental practices. He has over 30 years experience in environmental and regulatory law and litigation involving the State, federal and local governments.
He was the New Hampshire Attorney General following service as a homicide prosecutor in that office. He has led the firm’s environmental, regulatory and government relations practice since leaving the position of Attorney General in 1984.
His practice has involved representation of clients under all the major environmental laws in permitting, enforcement and litigation matters. In addition, he has handled a wide variety of other types of regulatory cases, and has been Legislative counsel in numerous matters.
He is editor and co-author of the New Hampshire Environmental Law Handbook and Adjunct Facility at New England College teaching a course for the Masters in Public Policy curriculum on the Presidency, and the United States Supreme Court.
He is a Fellow of the New Hampshire Bar Foundation and the American College of Environmental Lawyers.
